We are proud to announce that Zeus have joined the Lean & Green community. Zeus is ambitious about achieving a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions for their company by 2020 to become the first Irish Lean & Green Star Winner.
Who are Zeus?
Zeus is an international company based in Ireland that offers a one-stop-shop for packaging and hygiene products for several different industries. With a vast array of products and the capability to offer bespoke solutions, they aim to optimise performance and minimise both waste and costs for their customers and in their own operations.
CO2 emission reduction results and rewards
Aside from implementing environmental policies across their company, Zeus is also working hard on sustainability issues with special attention being given to the reduction of CO2 emissions within their logistics operations.
In September 2019 Zeus completed the Lean & Green Action Plan and began collecting data in order to accurately visualize CO2 emissions within the activities of their company. The Lean & Green Action Plan helped Zeus to create a sustainability roadmap.
Adrian Lannon, General Manager of Zeus, and his team have worked hard over the last few years and have achieved some great results. Zeus has so far seen a reduction of 16% in C02 emissions in 2019 compared to 2018. The ambition is to see a 20% CO2 reduction in 2020 to become the first Lean & Green Star Winner in Ireland.
Lean & Green would like to welcome Zeus to the our European community. We look forward to award Zeus with the first Star for all their good work.
We all would like to thank Mr. Jan Bakx, Managing Director of Pack Partners International, for giving Lean & Green the opportunity to talk to their members.
We also would like to give a special thank you to Mr Brian O’Sullivan, owner of Zeus. Without his support this would not have been possible.
We are convinced that more Irish companies will follow the Zeus’ example.
